Someday - new clothes!
Another 4 lbs! Yay! I like that I am losing weight, but I was getting frustrated, because I have not been seeing a difference. I think that is starting to change. I had a couple of t-shirts that had some pretty tight sleeves. Bonus is, they are not tight anymore. That and a pair of jeans that is getting too big! Another pair that was almost too small, and now they are almost perfect. I say almost, because they are also getting to be too big! It makes me a little more enthusiastic, because I can see at least some evidence of results! It will make me keep going!

A little smaller anyway.
So far I'm doing okay. I started my first week, and it went really well. I ended up losing 17 lbs the first week, which is amazing. I guess those first few come off fast. After that, it kinda slows down. The second week I lost 3 lbs. Not as much as week one, but hey, it is still a loss, right? Last week I lost 1 lb only, but that is was I am supposed to expect. From now on it is supposed to be 1-2 lbs per week, which is not so bad. I was also really really sick in the meantime there. I had strep throat, a respiratory infection, as well as a sinus infection. It sucked big time. But I'm mostly better now, a little sinus thing going here a little bit still, but not too bad. I can live with it now. For a couple days, I really just wanted to die. Or just sleep for days and days. Glad that's over.
So now I'm hoping that I can continue with the losing. I think what I need to do now is add in exercise. I have not been, mostly because I had no air from the resp infection. Since that is cleared up I should be able to start now. But not this week. I have an exam every day this week. Well, I had one today, so one down. But in the meantime, there is a lot of work to do, and I'm not sure I will be able to work it in. I might be able to get one in on Thurs and Fri, but most likely not before that. Oh well. One thing at a time.
On that note, not only am I sticking to my diet, I quit smoking! (Ahem, I kind of had to. When I was sick, it hurt too much to smoke.) But hey, still another step in the right direction!
